Where is the pick-up location?
All charters depart from La Parguera, Lajas, Puerto Rico. The exact pickup point will be shared in your confirmation email, and you’ll receive a Google Maps link for easy navigation. Free parking is available nearby.
What items are included with the charter?
Your charter includes everything you need for a perfect day at sea:

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your favorite beverages, snacks, or even lunch. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
How many guests can come aboard?
Cayito is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers for private charters, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
If your group has more than 6 passengers, please contact us directly — we can often make special arrangements or coordinate with another vessel.
What should I bring?
We recommend sunscreen, towels, hats, sunglasses, a change of clothes, and your favorite playlist for the Bluetooth sound system. If you plan to snorkel, bring swimwear and a rash guard.
Is snorkeling experience required?
Not at all! The crew will provide basic guidance and make sure you feel comfortable and safe before exploring the water.
What if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe due to weather, we’ll offer to reschedule your charter or provide a full refund.
Are kids allowed on the charter?
Yes! Cayito welcomes families. We have life jackets in various sizes.
What time should we arrive for our charter?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in, loading personal items, and a quick safety briefing.
Can I play my own music on board?
Definitely. Cayito is equipped with a Bluetooth sound system so you can connect your phone or tablet and enjoy your own tunes.
We kindly ask that music be kept at moderate volume levels, as La Parguera is part of a Natural Reserve—we respect the marine life and preserve the peaceful atmosphere for everyone.
Is Cayito pet-friendly?
Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome on private charters. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing a pet so we can prepare the deck with extra towels and ensure a safe, comfortable trip for your furry first mate.
Can I request a special arrangement?
Of course! We love creating custom experiences — from sunset proposals and birthday celebrations to private island picnics or snorkeling tours.
